A Beautiful Day / Mind

Readers,

The Law's Law would first like to give a response to Sir Creature's comment that there are underlying messages in this blog. First, The Law's Law is a believer in the legal philosophy of interpreting documents / cases by their "plain meaning." This is an approach that most Supreme Court Justices (the rad ones) take in interpreting the U.S. Constitution. The other side of the spectrum is interpreting the Constitution as a "living document" that can be constantly reinterpreted (which is lame because then the original intention of the framers of the Constitution gets skewed at least in yours truly's opinion). With The Law's Law's legal philosophy in mind, please interpret this blog by the plain meaning. There are no underlying messages and The Law's Law means what he says and says what he means. This is in addition to his belief that every word spoken shall be carefully chosen and meaningful (should practice this more often myself).

With that in mind...

In addition to today being the U2 concert (the bass from the concert literally rocked my house from the Rose Bowl), today was just absolutely amazing. In addition to it being a great day I must say that I cannot believe we have to wait yet another 3 weeks for a home game. I find it absolutely unconscionable that we have to wait for such a long time for another home game. It is literally like waiting for Christmas to come. One only has to ponder...

In unusual Law's Law fashion I must sound off on a couple of subjects:

The Sweepstakes: Nothing like waking up in the morning on the couch to find out that you missed Beaches (to drink some delicious Fireman's Ale) and that your friend tried to do big things with a certain maybe. Sir K to the Hawaii, the sweepstakes is on and I cannot wait for next weekend, hahaha.

The moment we've all been waiting for: The Blue Ribbon Award goes to Madame Birv. I have no clue how to explain how much this girl hates blogs (for more info on this, please visit The Law's Law bro's site http://dirtydigz.blogspot.com/). All I have to say is that we like to have fun and blogs facilitate that fun. When you are hungover on Monday morning, you will understand. However, the Birv does not win this award for this reason. Usually The Law's Law awards the award for exemplary behavior. However, today it is awarded for inactivity. Congratulations to Madame Birv for partying for 72 hours straight, complaining about her "homework," only to let us know on Sunday that her work only consisted of writing a 2 page paper (which according to an 8p Sunday BBM was still not done). The Law's Law has probably already written 2 pages on this post and he is rolling deep while scribing within 5 minutes. Honorable Mentions go to Sir Slow-Cotte for taking two wallets from the House of Lords (aka Chateau Bleu?) and for Sir Chairs for puking on his BB.

OreGONE: still a possibility of going to this game especially since The Law's Law has been cordially invited to stay in Auetzen, Oregon. However, The Law's Law Halloweekend costume may prevent such thing from happening since it is just so good: The Dos Equis "Most Interesting Man in the World" (TMIMITW). Pretty pumped to not shave for a week and to spray my hair gray.

ASU? The Law's Law unfortunately signed up for the MPRE (Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination) and will most likely not be able to take this roadtrip (although The Law's Law did already skip on this exam in August in order to do an NYC plow, so you never know).

This is the last week of Rocktober. The only good thing that The Law's Law sees coming out of this is that November 1 marks the first day one is allowed to play Christmas music. I was talking to my neighbor the other day and he told me to get ready for a Christmas season unlike any other. No clue what that means but it got me pretty pumped up.

I have not been to my regular Monday Yardhouse lunch in a month. Tomorrow is my first day back. Hopefully Madame Bartendress is not too disappointed in me (we became pretty good friends actually in September mainly bc shes a 10+)

Boom Time,

The Law's Law

P.S. The New Songs, DVD's, and photo albums and whatnot that have come out of this weekend have been absurd.

P.P.S. Sir Fratellis, I was a little disappointed in your performance on Saturday at Beaches. One must strive for the Blue Ribbon Award. Let's pick it up on Halloweekend.

P.P.P.S. Thank you to all of my loyal followers for pushing this blog above 600 original clicks. Big things to come and this has inspried The Law's Law to write a book and possibly some memoirs.

P.P.P.P.S Hope you all enjoy the new blog template.
