Boomers,
In sum, Friday started out in usual fashion with some Sun & Moon and Shellback action. We also gave Beaches a large chance to get our business. The only real business that really occurred there was taking shots of Rumple Mintz (one of The Law's Law's favorite holiday shots). This peppermint schnapps (sp?) delight used to cost about 8 bucks for a bottle AND a shot glass (that had a bottle opener on the bottle of the glass). The point of this being I guess that you can have a shot and a beer (aka Bat / Ball or Seasaw at the LAX airport bar).
Saturday evening was obviously "interesting." Without talking about the obvious disaster of a collegial competition, a couple of key stories came out. 1) For whatever reason, whenever we shotgunned beers at the House of Lords the game got better. 2) Some of the Trick or Treaters that come around MB are out of control. In addition to a 14 year old girl asking us for a beer (dressed as a promiscuous cat and then dropping an F bomb when we refused to give her a beer because we thought it was a sting operation), another 12 year old kid was dressed as a heroin addict (complete with a turkey baster "needle").
After the non-game, the crew went up the street for some pre-party / post-game action. Fantastic times were had. It is a little embarrassing when asked "What year did you graduate?" The Law's Law's response: 2007. Girl's response: 1999. Whoops. Of course The Law's Law also once again met a person that he had a full-on conversation within previous weeks but completely did not remember the conversation / person / name. Whoops again. (Sir Zeth - exact same situation as in SF). For more information on the night please take a gander at http://dirtydigz.blogspot.com/
After one doozy of a Rocktober and terrible close out, The Law's Law must remain optimistic because life could be worse. As many of you know, the Holiday season has arrived. Tis the season for Christmas music, Classy Christmas Parties, and overall awesomeness. More on the activities of November in the next posting.
Over and Out,
The Law's Law
P.S. The Law's Law recently updated his BB (took 3 hours on Friday morning). Well worth it, I suggest everyone update their software. One bone to pick: usually before going to sleep I put the BB on silent but even on silent, the alarm still goes off. Apparently now when on silent it also puts the alarm on silent. Not cool as The Law's Law barely made it to class on time this morning.
P.P.S. Second best thing (which I just learned today) is that on the new BBM when you get a new contact it ACTUALLY goes in alphabetical order AUTOMATICALLY. Taking out the battery to make this happen was a huge pet peeve of The Law's Law.
